Own a piece of guitar history with this beautiful Fender Custom Shop 1958 Stratocaster in a stunning Aged Sherwood Metallic finish. Complimented with Fender Custom Shop's Journeyman Relic treatment, this guitar has been authentically aged in such a way that it resembles an instrument thats been played for years, but subjected to the general ware and tear that a player will put their instruments through. The finish checking appears authentic and it's very aesthetically pleasing as well. The ware on the fretboard is also really cool, and perfectly accents the beautiful roasted flame maple neck found on this axe.
With an alder body, lacquer finish, and 9.5" fretboard radius, this guitar has a vintage vibe and construction that would be found on a true 58' Strat. A 1.65" nut width and narrow tall 6105 frets also contribute to the vintage mojo, all topped off with a vintage style headstock decal application.
First fret neck depth is .85", and .98" at the 12th fret. The pickups are hand wound Tomatillo in the neck and middle, and a hand wound Poblano in the bridge, all of which are Custom Shop pickups. Guitar includes original hard shell case, certificate of authenticity, and all case candy.
