The sought after sound of the Fat Strat is captured here with this beautiful Fender Custom Shop 1950's Limited Edition Fat Stratocaster. It's been relic'd to appear as if it's been around since the 50's, and vintage specification is plentiful on this beast of a guitar. Featuring a 9.5" fretboard radius and 1.625" nut, topped off with a vintage applied Fender headstock decal, vintage mojo is prominent with this guitar. The finish is nitrocellulose too which means it will age fantastically, and already has.
With it's hand wound Strat Fat 50's pickups and soft V neck, comfort and tone aren't mutually exclusive, as this guitar is both fat and versatile while also playing supremely well. The fret wire is a jumbo 6100, with a bone nut and micarta black dots on the face and side of the fretboard.
